Open Flame Trial.. CHERY CSH Hybrid Battery Safety Challenge in Malaysia Completed Successfully

CHERY successfully held its inaugural CHERY Super Hybrid (CSH) Battery Safety Challenge in Malaysia. Through open and transparent testing, the brand showcased to the global market the stability and safety of the CSH hybrid battery.

The event was witnessed by government representatives and media professionals from multiple countries. The CSH hybrid battery, fitted to TIGGO 7 PHEV and TIGGO 8 PHEV, remained stable under high-temperature open flame conditions with no fire spread, electrical failure or abnormal deformation, passing the challenge with outstanding results.

The test was conducted fully in the open and carried out in strict accordance with standards. The battery endured 1000℃ high-temperature burning and 80 seconds of continuous flame impact, while maintaining structural integrity and showing no abnormalities.

This fully validated the ultra-high safety and robust reliability of the CSH hybrid battery.

The event was attended by senior officials from Malaysian authorities including MITI, MAI and DSM, and gathered more than 100 leading local general and automotive media.

The Putrajaya Fire Department was on standby throughout the event to ensure full safety control. Joint support from CATL, the local product team and the Right-Hand Drive Research Institute guaranteed a rigorous testing process and authentic, valid data.
