Ibrahim Badran Foundation and “Medmark” Announce Strategic Collaboration to Enhance Access to Healthcare in Fayoum Governorate

As part of strengthening impactful partnerships between civil society institutions and the private sector to support sustainable development, Ibrahim A. Badran Foundation- Medical Charity Foundation, and Medmark Insurance Brokerage S.A.E have announced the launch of a joint strategic collaboration aimed at expanding free medical services and reaching the most underserved communities in Fayoum Governorate.

This collaboration stems from Medmark’s strong belief in the importance of the private sector’s role in supporting sustainable community initiatives and aligns with the mission of Ibrahim A. Badran Foundation to provide comprehensive healthcare and improve the quality of life for underprivileged groups in villages and underserved areas.

Under this partnership, Medmark will fully sponsor an extensive medical convoy in Fayoum Governorate, designed to provide free, specialized medical services to approximately 600 beneficiaries, contributing to improved access to necessary healthcare services while reducing both the health and financial burdens on their families.

The collaboration is based on delivering integrated healthcare services that go beyond examination and treatment, extending to health awareness and community education, thereby creating a sustainable preventive impact. The Ibrahim Badran Foundation will implement the convoy through a specialized medical team comprising a distinguished group of doctors, pharmacists, and technical support staff, delivering services across eight main clinics: pediatrics, ophthalmology, dermatology, orthopedics, ENT, internal medicine, nutrition, and health awareness. In addition, a fully equipped pharmacy will provide medications free of charge to all patients.

In this context, Ms. Ola Ismail, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the Ibrahim A. Badran – Medical Charity Foundation, stated: “We are proud of this partnership with Medmark, which represents a true model of collaboration between the private sector and civil society organizations to achieve sustainable community impact. Medmark’s support enables us to reach more deserving families with our medical services and provide integrated healthcare that contributes to improving their quality of life and enhancing their access to the care they need.”

For his part, Mr. Sherif El Ghatrify, Managing Director of Medmark Insurance Brokerage, commented: “This partnership reflects Medmark’s commitment to its social responsibility and its belief in the importance of supporting developmental and healthcare initiatives that have a direct impact on people’s lives. We are pleased to collaborate with the Ibrahim Badran Foundation, given its distinguished expertise and strong track record in delivering medical services to underserved communities. We look forward to this convoy making a real and sustainable difference in the lives of hundreds of families in Fayoum Governorate.”

This collaboration reflects both parties’ commitment to strengthening the concept of partnership for development and contributing to building healthier and more sustainable communities, by providing high-quality medical services that reach those in need and leave a lasting positive impact that extends beyond the moment of service delivery; creating a real difference in the lives of individuals and families. It is driven by the belief that healthcare is a fundamental right for all, and that every step in this journey represents renewed hope for a healthier and more humane future for local communities.
