Egyptian Participation Underscores Regional Standing
This year’s edition will feature prominent participation from several Egyptian companies specialized in technology and digital transformation, showcasing their latest innovations in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and financial technology, in addition to industrial and commercial solutions designed to strengthen their presence in regional markets.
Such participation highlights Cairo’s position as a regional hub for technology and innovation in the Middle East and Africa, as Egyptian companies aim to expand their strategic partnerships with Gulf and international counterparts, while attracting new investments to support their expansion in Oman and the wider region.
Accelerated Digital Transformation in Oman

According to the national “Tahwul” digital program, overall digital transformation performance across government entities recorded an 80% increase by May 2025 compared to the previous year, with more than 11.4 million digital transactions completed across 48 government agencies. In addition, 96% of targeted services were streamlined, and 74% digitized.
A Leading Platform for Innovation and Partnerships
COMEX 2025 will feature specialized pavilions covering e-government, startups, fintech, and e-sports, alongside a series of accompanying events including the COMEX Summit, panel discussions, innovation competitions, and awards honoring the best technology projects.
In this context, Mohamed Sami, General Manager of Al Dar Al Arabia, the organizing company, emphasized that the exhibition serves as a vital gateway to showcase the latest digital solutions and provides a significant investment opportunity for entrepreneurs and innovators. He added that the event offers Egyptian startups and SMEs the chance to link their products and services to direct investment opportunities and long-term partnerships.
Sami further noted that Egyptian companies’ participation reflects the rapid development of Egypt’s technology sector, placing it at the heart of the global technology landscape as an active partner contributing to advancing Arab technological integration and reinforcing the region’s position on the global digital map.
COMEX 2025 represents a pivotal milestone in the region’s innovation and digital transformation journey, reaffirming Oman’s role as a regional hub for digital innovation, while highlighting Egypt’s growing contribution as a key partner in shaping the future of the digital economy.
