This project has been implemented within the framework of cooperation between the Ministry of Social Solidarity and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) implementing on behalf of the German Government with co-funding from the European Union through the Equal Opportunities & Social Development Project.
“We believe that promoting equal opportunities and social inclusion requires innovative and effective tools, and that arts serve as a powerful medium to create spaces for dialogue and integration. We are pleased to implement this project alongside our partners in Egypt and proud to witness young people leading change themselves,” commented Dr. Cherry Ramsis, Executive Director of Media-Arts for Development.
“The Two=One project stands as a model of how the arts can be harnessed as a powerful tool for positive social change. We have successfully empowered hundreds of young women and men to express themselves while promoting the values of equality and diversity. We are proud to be partners with the GIZ Egypt, the European Union, and the Ministry of Social Solidarity and their efforts in making this impact possible,” stated Ms. Dina Walaan, Project Manager at MADEV.
