Al Ahram Poultry and Hybrid Sign Strategic Partnership to Develop Turkey Industry in Egypt
In a new step towards strengthening its position in Egypt’s poultry sector, Al Ahram Poultry, a subsidiary of Cairo 3A Group, announced the signing of a strategic partnership with Hybrid, one of the world’s leading companies specializing in turkey breeding and genetics.
This partnership, the first of its kind in Egypt dedicated to the turkey industry, underscores the importance of this promising sector and its role in diversifying poultry production. It aims to develop and support Egypt’s turkey industry by bringing global expertise and advanced technologies. It also promotes best production practices to enhance the quality, efficiency, and sustainability of local production.
This initiative aligns with Al Ahram Poultry’s strategy to strengthen national supply chains and offer integrated solutions for farmers and investors. It further supports the diversification of animal protein sources and contributes to national food security.

Alaa El Gameel further elaborated that the turkey industry represents one of the key pillars of development within the poultry sector, given its high nutritional value and strong economic return, as well as its potential to create new job opportunities and stimulate agricultural and food investments.
El Gameel also noted that Al Ahram Poultry is building an integrated system based on innovation, knowledge, and hands-on experience. The company’s efforts focus on enhancing the efficiency, quality, and sustainability of production. Through this approach, Al Ahram Poultry strives to position Egypt among the leading turkey producers in the Middle East and Africa.

The agreement highlights the importance of collaboration between local and international companies to improve industry efficiency and achieve self-sufficiency in animal protein.
