Enjo misr Wins United Nations Award for AI-Powered Workforce Technology

In a milestone that underscores Egypt’s leadership in digital transformation and artificial intelligence, Enjo misr has won the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) Award as part of the global initiative “Towards an Inclusive Digital Economy”. The award recognizes the company’s innovative solutions that redefine the concept of Workforce Technology (Workforce Tech) in Egypt and the Arab world.
Selected from more than 700 companies worldwide, the Egyptian firm was named Best Digital Innovation in the category of SME Empowerment, honoring a homegrown company that successfully developed an integrated AI-driven digital ecosystem for professional and community-based organizations. The achievement establishes an Egyptian foundation for the technologies driving the global digital economy.
According to the company, the award-winning solution aims to empower professional and social entities that support the labor market by transforming them into modern digital ecosystems. These platforms deliver social, professional, training, and financial services through a smart infrastructure designed to reflect Egyptian identity while serving all segments of the workforce. The initiative contributes to promoting formal employment and advancing Sustainable Development Goal 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth).
Eng. Mohamed Gamal, CEO of Enjo misr, described the award as “a global acknowledgment of Egypt’s ability to integrate technology and governance in the development of its national and societal institutions.”
He added that the company is steadily working toward achieving Sustainable Development Goal 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions), in full alignment with Egypt’s Vision 2030.
Gamal emphasized that the recognition highlights Enjo misr’s social impact and its role in presenting an authentic Egyptian model for sustainable digital development. He noted that the company is currently expanding its partnerships with several regulatory and institutional bodies to scale the model both domestically and internationally.
The company will be officially honored during the Global Forum on AI and Industry (AIM Global), to be held in Riyadh this November, in the presence of UN leaders and decision-makers from around the world.
The event will mark Enjo misr as a testament to Egypt’s growing capacity to develop globally competitive national workforce technologies.
At the conclusion of the statement, Eng. Mohamed Gamal dedicated the award to H.E. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, in recognition of their efforts to advance Egypt’s digital transformation and empower young innovators.
He also noted that the project’s initial concept originated from the Entrepreneurship Center of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, through the national GOV Tech program, which provided extensive support via workshops and stakeholder networking. The program enabled the company to validate and solidify the practical foundation of its digital solutions — a key factor behind this global recognition.
Gamal concluded by affirming that this achievement represents the true outcome of Egypt’s national policies aimed at building a digital economy founded on innovation, knowledge, and youth empowerment.
