CHERY Unveils Two New SUVs With Different Visions of Family Life

CHERY has unveiled the all-new TIGGO7 and TIGGOX7 at CHERY Brand Night in Wuhu, China, under the theme “Together. For Family.”
The two SUVs target different lifestyles, combining everyday comfort with technology and safety features designed around family needs.
The TIGGO7 focuses on urban mobility, while the TIGGOX7 targets families seeking outdoor adventures and more challenging terrain.
TIGGO7 Focuses on Everyday Comfort and Safety
The all-new TIGGO7 builds on the TIGGO family’s tiger-inspired design, combining distinctive styling with a spacious, yacht-inspired cabin.
Its interior features height-adjustable front seats, adjustable rear backrests and air conditioning designed to heat and cool quickly.
Also, these features aim to improve passenger comfort during daily commutes, shopping trips and family outings.
Safety remains a central part of the model’s positioning, with CHERY highlighting ratings awarded to the TIGGO7 series.
The company reports five-star ratings from C-NCAP, Euro NCAP, ANCAP and ASEAN NCAP across four regional assessment programmes.
Also, the new model uses a cage-type body structure containing more than 80% high-strength steel.
CHERY also cites more than 20 active safety and driver-assistance functions intended to support protection during family journeys.
The TIGGO7 series is available in more than 75 overseas markets, according to the company.
TIGGOX7 Brings Rugged Capability to Family Travel
CHERY describes the TIGGOX7 as its first American-style rugged SUV and the first production model in the TIGGOX series.
Designed for urban commuting and outdoor exploration, it features 3-6-1 driving modes, an all-terrain chassis and off-road crawl control.
Also, its ground clearance exceeds 200 mm, while its stated wading depth reaches up to 700 mm.
A 540-degree camera system is designed to help drivers monitor the vehicle’s surroundings on demanding terrain.
These specifications position the TIGGOX7 for families seeking greater flexibility beyond conventional paved-road journeys.
A Cabin Designed for Longer Adventures
The TIGGOX7 cabin manages six comfort dimensions: temperature, humidity, air freshness, cleanliness, quietness and personalisation.
Also, second-row seats fold at the touch of a button, creating additional space for luggage and camping equipment.
CHERY says these features aim to support a comfortable cabin environment and reduce fatigue during longer trips.
The two models complement each other within the company’s “For Family” philosophy, addressing different travel preferences.
While the TIGGO7 prioritises everyday comfort, the TIGGOX7 expands the focus toward outdoor activities and varied terrain.
