CIB Signs a Cornerstone Investment Agreement for an Investment of up to EGP 2 Billion in MNT-Halan’s Proposed Offering

Commercial International Bank (Egypt) “CIB” announces that it has entered into a cornerstone investment agreement dated 24 September 2026 with MNT Tech Holding for Financial Investments S.A.E. (“MNT-Halan”) and MNT Investments B.V. pursuant to which CIB has committed to purchase shares in the international offering forming part of the offering of MNT-Halan’s shares and the listing of its shares on the Egyptian Exchange (the “Offering”), for an aggregate investment amount of up to EGP 2 billion, subject to the terms and conditions of the cornerstone investment agreement, as described in the offering documents published by MNT-Halan.
CIB’s participation reflects the Bank’s continued commitment to supporting leading Egyptian companies, while further strengthening its presence across the financial services and capital markets sectors.

Commenting on the transaction, Mr. Amr El Ganainy, Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Executive Board Member of CIB, said:
