Vivo Launches “vivo The Moment” Mobile Photo Awards 2026 Campaign to Inspire Everyday Photographers in Collaboration with UNESCO and Phlog
vivo has announced the launch of the “vivo The Moment” Mobile Photo Awards 2026, in collaboration with UNESCO and Phlog, as part of its ongoing commitment to community engagement and creative empowerment, and connecting technology with culture and sustainability through mobile photography.
The initiative aims to encourage creative expression, support emerging talent, and highlight the role of mobile photography as a powerful tool for storytelling. By bringing together technology, culture, and sustainability, the campaign offers photography enthusiasts across Egypt a platform to share authentic stories through their lenses.
Driven by vivo’s vision of making professional-level photography more accessible to everyone, the initiative reflects the brand’s commitment to enabling more people to capture and share the unique moments of their lives through smartphone technology. Through this collaboration, vivo also seeks to create meaningful opportunities for individuals from diverse backgrounds to engage with photography in a deeper and more impactful way, while also highlighting the beauty and diversity of locations across Egypt.
As a key partner, UNESCO brings to the initiative its expertise in cultural preservation and youth empowerment, reinforcing the initiative’s broader mission to celebrate identity, creativity, and cultural connection. Phlog also joins the collaboration in support of building a vibrant and more inclusive photography community.
The competition invites participants to submit original work across four main categories: Portrait, Landscape, Street, and Travel, with a focus on showcasing their creative abilities while making use of the advanced photography capabilities of vivo smartphones.
The competition runs from 9 April to 5 May 2026, with winners to be announced during a closing ceremony on 20 May 2026. A total of 10 winners will be recognized across multiple award categories, receiving cash prizes up to 240,000 EGP, vivo V70 FE smartphones, and official recognition.
In addition, the recipient of the Honorable Mention award will receive a unique cultural opportunity in the form of a fully sponsored trip to Italy, offered by vivo and UNESCO, with the aim of encouraging cross-cultural exchange and inspiring creativity.
The initiative extends beyond prizes, as selected participants will gain professional exposure through the showcasing of their work across vivo’s official platforms and in selected exhibitions, further underscoring vivo’s role in supporting the creative community.
Through the “vivo The Moment” Mobile Photo Awards 2026, vivo continues its efforts to make photography more accessible to all, using technology to inspire creativity, amplify voices, and strengthen cultural ties within the community.
